Cheesy Garlic Roasted Asparagus


  • 1 lb asparagus spears
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • ¾ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1¼ shredded mozzarella cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Mince garlic and remove the woody ends of the asparagus.
  3. Lightly grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil spray and arrange asparagus on it.
  4. Mix together olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Drizzle mixture over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the asparagus begins to get tender.
  6. Remove from oven and top with the shredded mozzarella. Broil for 4-5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
