Pomegranate

The pomegranate is the only fruit of its kind. Its seeds, called arils, are known to be high in antioxidants. To remove the arils, cut the fruit into 4 or 5 wedges. Submerge them in a bowl of water and gently scrape out the seeds. The seeds will sink, while the small white membranes will float. Simply remove them and drain the rest. Choose the heaviest fruit, a sign that it is juicy. Freeze your arils and add them to a pitcher of cold water in the summer!
