PANCAKES
FOR MOM

INGREDIENTS

  • 1cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2tablespoons of white sugar
  • 2teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1teaspoon of salt
  • 1egg (beaten)
  • 1cup of milk
  • 2tablespoons of vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Form a well in the center of the mixture and pour in milk, egg and oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high. Pour a quarter cup of the batter per pancake.
  4. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
  5. Optional (for non-Canadians): Top with a generous amount of maple syrup.
