Two More Ways to Get More for Less
cup of all-purpose flour
tablespoons of white sugar
teaspoons of baking powder
teaspoon of salt
cup of milk
tablespoons of vegetable oil
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Form a well in the center of the mixture and pour in milk, egg and oil. Mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high. Pour a quarter cup of the batter per pancake.
Brown on both sides and serve hot.
Optional (for non-Canadians): Top with a generous amount of maple syrup.
