simply return the item and receipt within 14 days for a refund or

Corporate Brand Products Return Policy
All of our Corporate Brand Products (Irresistibles, Selection,
Master Choice, Equality, Body Basics, Solutions 1-2-3 products) are
backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely
satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item and receipt
within 14 days for a refund or product exchange.*
Returns with a Receipt
* If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply

* Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the
original purchase:
o Purchases made with a debit card will be refunded to the original
debit card
o Credit card purchases will be refunded to the original credit
card
Returns without a receipt
* Provided that the product is unopened or unused, a product
exchange will be offered at the same value as the original
item.
Exceptions
* The following items will not be eligible for a refund or exchange
without a receipt. If these items are open, they will not be
eligible for a refund or exchange even with a receipt.
o Tobacco
o Batteries
o Baby Formula
o Diapers
o Razor Blades
o Personal Garments
o Special Event Tickets
o CDs, DVDs, Videos & All Electronics
o Books & Magazines are not eligible for refund or exchange
with or without a receipt
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or product exchange on
opened product and without proof of purchase.
For Seasonal Items that may not available for a product exchange, a
credit of the lowest final retail will be applied to a gift
card.
Proof of purchase is required for all Garden Centre Merchandise
refunds/exchanges. There are no refunds on annual flowers or
plants. Perennials are eligible for a refund or exchange for up to
one year after purchase with the receipt.

Upon refund or exchange, your signature, name, address and phone
number may be required for audit purposes. Proof of identification
may also be required.
*It is preferable that product is returned to the store where
purchased. Effective April 24, 2006.

Our community-based corporate and franchisee stores offer over 8,000 national brand and private label products in an easy to shop layout, and we are easily recognized with our vivid green exterior.
Food Basics supports its parent company's (Metro Inc.) charitable program, Growing Great Kids. All of our fundraising efforts and corporate donations are dedicated to this program which supports three leading children's charities: Breakfast for Learning, The Hospital for Sick Children and Kids Help Phone. Therefore, we cannot accomodate requests to sponsor sports teams or other projects of that nature.

At our pharmacies, we may collect your name, date of birth, weight (if under age 13), previous and current medical conditions, allergies, previous medication history, drug plan information (if applicable, including OHIP number for the Ontario Drug Plan over age 65 patients), physician information, pregnancy/lactation status (if applicable), and other pertinent health care information necessary to service your health needs.

Your privacy is very important to us. We are committed to earning your trust by safeguarding your personal information. All the information you provide to us is securely maintained and is kept strictly confidential. We do not, and will not, sell or rent our customer lists or private health information to other companies.
Selected Metro Ontario Inc. employees: Access to your personal information is limited to a select group of Metro Ontario Inc. employees who use it only for purposes explained in the previous sections. All these employees are bound by this Privacy Commitment. Unauthorized access to, misuse and/or disclosure of customer information is strictly prohibited. All employees are expected to maintain the confidentiality of customer information at all times and failing to do so will result in appropriate disciplinary measures.
Outside service suppliers: We sometimes use outside organizations to provide services such as analysis, market research, data processing and printing. Our pharmacies may utilize a medication delivery service, but only with your consent. All these suppliers are bound by strict contracts to protect the privacy and security of your information, and they are given only the information necessary to perform those services. They are also prohibited from storing, analyzing or using that information for any other purpose.
Drug Benefit Plans: We disclose personal information to drug benefit plan administrators in order for them to pay for the medication(s) and service(s) provided. These insurance providers do have the ability to internally audit the pharmacy upon sufficient notice.
Government Authorities: If we are required by law or a court order to disclose personal information, we will disclose only that information that is legally required.
